Meet Barliva: a no-cook barley breakfast for busy mornings
24/10/2026 · 3 min read

Talbeena is cooked in a pan and served warm. Barliva skips the stove. It is a roasted barley mix that you stir into warm or cold milk, so a glass is ready in the time it takes to find your keys.
What is in the pack
Barliva is made from roasted barley blended with almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, with no added sugar. The pack contains no milk or milk powder; you add the milk at home. Milk Mawa is a flavour, not an ingredient.
- Butterscotch: caramel-sweet over a roasted barley base
- Kesar (Saffron): gentle saffron notes
- Strawberry: bright and fruity, a favourite with kids
- Milk Mawa: the comfort of mawa in a quick glass
How to make a glass
- Add 2–3 tablespoons of Barliva to a glass of warm or cold milk.
- Stir well until smooth. A shaker or blender makes it even quicker.
- Add honey or sugar according to taste, if you like it sweeter.
Talbeena or Barliva?
If your family likes a warm bowl in the morning, Talbeena is the one. If mornings are rushed, or you want something to carry to work or college, Barliva fits. Many homes keep both: Talbeena on slower days, Barliva on the run.
The full ingredient list, nutrition information and allergen details are printed on every pack. Barliva contains almonds; please check the label if anyone at home has a nut allergy.
